Artist statement: Not only is green my favourite colour, but I associate green with creativity. It is also tranquil and calming. I see myself as a creative person so having green as the focus in this piece represents me at my centre. This particular shade of green – a blue-green, almost turquoise – also incorporates the blue of oceans and green of land.
