My intention was to capture how nature and animals are all around us. By rendering myself in the same colour it links the different element of the artworks into a dreamlike environment where humans, fish insects and leaves representing nature can cohabitate. Sticking to the colours orange, blue, green and yellow, represented the different elements and ecosystems, whilst they are separate from one another, they are also a part of the same world. I used patterns of swirls intertwined with bubbles to represent the ocean, putting the insects and myself in a new unnatural environment to blur the lines between human and environment. My artwork aims to make viewers consider their own relationship with nature and the living world around them.
