Artist statement: “The brief was to develop a poster using either the elements or the principles of design, with one example incorporated for each element or principle. I investigated all the design elements and principles in turn, recording my ideas through a series of thumbnail drawings. From these thumbnails I chose the design elements for my composition, formulating a scene which represented my personality through watercolour design.
