15 Days through a Stranger’s Eyes

Artist statement: This work is meant to represent 15 days in a teenager’s life – more particularly, mine. Teenagers are seen in a very narrow light of stereotypes, which I believed heavily until becoming one. I was influenced by many factors, most being TV shows and media news sources, which all show teenagers as one personality, and my own experiences. Through my eyes, I hope to show how teenagers of my generation are not the stereotypes pushed in the media. It shows things I see and value, even though some people may not see any value in it. It shows how different people experience and value things differently to others, and I hope it can bring light on how we see and treat other people.
