Artist statement: My artwork titled ‘Giada’, is a young woman, a daughter, a friend, and a feminist, she is a confident modern woman. Giada stands upright, her shoulders strong but relaxed, she emanates a quality of strength. Her gaze is direct; it is not just her natural beauty we view but her body language, the unspoken element of communication has been used to reveal her true powerful feelings and passions. She is strong, powerful, and unapologetically challenging. The light catches a subtle expression in her eyes indicating a hidden secret, yet the glint in her left eye captures a softness.
