Artist statement: In this design task, I was required to produce three dust covers for a novel, Time of Crime. My designs are illustration-based. The three designs work collaboratively using a monochromatic scheme of black and white with a bold red in the typography. This creates a focal point and a sense of symbolism. The designs employ a graphic style mimicking traditional comic book imagery.
