Artist statement: I created this piece to question our ideas of the unknown – to make the audience ask “What makes a monster, a monster? What makes a devil, a devil? What makes a god, a god? And why are we so sure of that?” I ask why rules apply to something we know nothing of. We cannot definitively say what a monster or a devil or a god is. We can simply imagine.
