Artist statement: Humors (choleric) explores one of the four humors; an ancient pseudoscience based on a belief that the fluids in our body – blood, yellow bile, phlegm, and black bile – correspond to a specific temperament and level of physical health. People theoretically have their own ideal balance, and the majority liquid would determine your specific personality type. Choleric types are ambitious and passionate, but could also be shortsighted and impatient, with a direct and sure gaze, and bubbling ideas in the golden water.
