Bon Appétit is a collaborative artwork and a celebration of food. Each piece is from a bird’s-eye view, creating the feeling of looking down at a shared meal.
The beads transform the everyday subject matter, making the food appear more vibrant and inviting. By combining painting with mixed-media techniques, we explored how different materials can change the way an artwork is experienced.
As a group, we wanted to celebrate food as something that brings people together. The four individual works connect to create one larger composition, reflecting the idea of sharing meals, experiences, and creativity.
