Identity is what someone has that is unique to them and them only. Identity is what makes everyone themselves. It gives them personality and separates them from everyone else in the world. This portrait represents me from the bright, orange colours that contrast with the dark blue background which symbolise my positive personality and ability to think on the bright side even during dark times. My painting includes a dark blue background along with  lighter blue rose petal like patterns that add to the background. I decided to go with warmer colours like orange as they would look the best against the dark background and because orange is the complimentary colour of blue.
