The painting “Nature in Peace” presents a portrait of Miss Patricia Bouveng with a forest background landscape through the use of the oil paints, spectrum red, spectrum yellow, spectrum blue, burnt umber and white. The art pieces use particular symbols and colors to help represent who she is as a person. For example, the infinity symbol earring in a boot orange is used to represent her value for external love and limitlessness potential and boot orange is preferred color. The flying dove in the background also helps to support her values for peace and loyalty. The meaning behind this piece is to show viewers Miss Bouveng’s beliefs and values through visual imagery and symbolism and help viewers understand her experience and stories.
