Music of the Mind explores the connection between music and movement, drawing inspiration from Agustín Barrios Mangoré’s La Catedral. The flowing form and painted imagery translate the piece’s changing rhythms into something that can be seen and held. Curved lines, musical symbols, and organic shapes echo ripples across water, suggesting the way sound travels, lingers, and fades. The vessel becomes more than a functional object—it acts as a container for memory, emotion, and melody. By blending music with clay, I wanted to create a quiet visual experience that invites viewers to imagine sound flowing through the surface, where each curve and mark represents a note suspended in time.
