Climate change headlines have been covering front pages for decades, with articles debating its existence and whether any action can, or should, be taken to curb it. As a young member of society, it is intimidating to imagine the state of our environment in 50 years’ time, especially knowing that most people who have been allocated the task of restoring the natural world will not live to see if they succeed. We place the onus on big corporations to limit further impacts; however, too many people fail to recognise the need to alter personal habits and shift towards climate-safe alternatives.
