My artwork is a composition of natural forms contrasting with artificial tools. It is a representation of our Earth and how it affects us as humans. Nature controls our lives and wellbeing, and when humans tear Nature apart with manufactured items we see the impact on our environment and ourselves. I placed a screaming face at the centre of the artwork, crowded by spanners. This represents the idea that technology can wear us out. But the elements of Nature placed around the composition create a calming effect. This conveys Nature’s healing impact.
