I consider myself childish. I still like to hug my stuffed animals when I sleep. That aspect of people should be protected, like the ribcage protects our heart. It’s a pure and selfish part, but something I want to preserve rather than dissociating from a younger me. I used pastel pencils to create the drawing as I enjoy their crumbly, almost flaky, texture when I draw. The texture also translated well when I used it on the bunny’s soft fur.
