Artist statement: This triptych explores the consequences and realities of the beef industry’s existence. Themes regarding the environmental impact of the industry, the ethical questions surround dairy and veal production, and humanity’s part in the process are visually discussed through the multi-layered use of plastics, butchers paper and pins to display the faux-leather hides like butterflies.
