Artist statement: This self-portrait was completed in oil paints using a limited pallet. I thinned the paints using a variety of different mediums. In this process, I worked on creating a very tonal, monochromatic portrait. I feel as a result I have has created a very moody and mysterious expression, that suits my personality.
