Artist statement: My Aboriginal dot painting, which is the same style as my cultural background, represent the devastating effect of bush fire. I have been very sad with all the bush fires that happened recently in different parts of Australia. I want people to be aware that we should do all that we can to prevent this from happening, especially if people cause it deliberately, which is unacceptable. However, I wanted to show that despite the damage done by bush fires, life always find a way. Life after the bush fire is represented by the plants that are growing and will keep growing.
