Artist statement: A fictitious, hideous, mutant monster that was born out of dumped radioactive waste material. A cave dweller, this monster grows as big as a cow, has no eyes, living in complete darkness, with rows of sharp teeth. It feeds on small animals, birds and the occasional hiker. Taking inspiration from artist Jenny Orchard, my sculpture represents monster mysteries. Do monsters exist? Are they real or imaginary?
