Artist statement: A simple act of kindness can do so much in our world and, with all the crazy things happening right now, it’s more important than ever. But unfortunately, we haven’t been showing enough kindness to our fellow human beings. In my artwork, I wanted to show how we can display generosity to all people. I tried to convey this by depicting three different scenes of unalike people showing compassion and friendliness to each other. When you think about it, it’s a privilege and an education to meet people different to ourselves and to see the world in different ways.
