Artist statement: This group artwork involved researching and drawing a range of plants that are both beautiful and dangerous and incorporating them into a set of altered books.Two of the books have hidden compartments that need opening in order to see the imagery contained. The books were initially found discarded on the side of the road and were given a second life.
