Artist statement: Stages of existence is a narrative about the stages of life youth move through to adulthood. We travel through a grey zone of forgetting and learning, with one step forward to adulthood, then three steps back, in what feels like a perpetual state of frustration. I am trying to remind myself and others that we should not waste this time, enjoy it, and live life to it’s fullest.
