Artist statement: This shot was composed to capture a very film-like quality, originally intended to be seen in black and white with a noir type feel. But with the weather that night and nature’s own beauty amongst a storm that was brewing, and the perfect luck of a lighting strike in the background, I decided to show the scene in full colour, telling it’s own story.
