Medium: Natural clay, pigment and concrete

Artist statement: These painting were constructed using mediums that were all sourced from a natural clay pit, with the exception of the concrete. The clay and concrete were mixed together and resulted in unique cracked surfaces upon drying. Students were then able to apply pigments to create a gradient.
