My still image oil on canvas painting was inspired by my late Pop who I love and miss very much. The painting features a bunch of objects that used to belong to him and now have been passed down and mean a lot to my family. It is meant to resemble how he left his office for the last time, with his favourite cologne half used, skippers ticket on the desk ready and his favourite treasures on display. His old boat float, surf board, steering wheel and other related items show his love for the ocean that he gave my dad who now shares it with my brothers and I. This art piece represents my Pop and how hardworking, brave and passionate he was just like my dad.
