I wanted to do a painting that depicts joy and celebrations among all the different communities that live in the Fitzroy Valley, the place where I live. Also, the Fitzroy River is represented in my painting through the flow of the water. The Fitzroy River catchment has significant cultural, environmental, and economic values.
