Digital Photogram

A2+ frame

My artwork is a digital colour photogram. I had to think about composition when arranging my subject matter with the analogy of “less is more” and lots of negative space when photographing. In photoshop, I inverted the image reversing positive into negative and used levels to adjust the tonal values and bring in the details of the Australian flora. Using blending options, I chose luminosity to enhance the colour. For presentation, I added the white boarders, mimicking analogue photographs.
