My work is a painting of a large bunch of strawberries with some cupcake desserts. I have also included a poured-out bowl of M&Ms and a plate of eclairs. I chose to make the background a soft purple (rather than the grey in my photogrpahic reference) as it is gentler and more fun. I enjoyed painting and adding tonal variation to my work after blocking in the initial colours. So much time passed quickly whilst I was painting.
