This collaborative concertina artwork is a unified collection of individual dry-point etching prints created by our Year 10 Extension Art class. By connecting our prints in a concertina format, we symbolise how our unique artistic voices come together to form a shared narrative. Our work was inspired by the powerful imagery of German Expressionist printmaker Käthe Kollwitz. We were particularly drawn to her bold line work, striking contrasts, and emotionally charged subjects. Through our own interpretations, we aimed to capture a similar sense of depth, empathy, and human experience in our prints.
