My artwork focuses on the dinner rituals of my family as we regularly come together for a meal. I wanted to create a truthful scene by capturing my family in an everyday state, where discussions and memories are made at the dining room table. The intention of my painting is to deliver a strong feeling of comfort within a domestic setting and to capture the security of family daily rituals. I also want to create a calming and familiar scene for the viewer to engage in.
