Divide and Conquer is an oil painting of a powerful male face, inspired by Napoleon, split into four equal parts and floating in space. The artwork explores how leadership, authority, and ego can create division—both between people and within ourselves. By breaking the face apart, I wanted to show how those in power can be seen differently when their image is challenged. It also reflects how identity can feel fractured under pressure, and how leadership can sometimes separate rather than unite
