I chose this Eucalyptus blossom as I like the bright colours in it. I like the bright pinks and reds. These colours remind me of celebrations when family get together and that feeling you get during those times. I painted ‘Blossom’ using acrylic paint on canvas. To get the final tones correct I photographed my artwork in black and white. I also used glazes to add in colour highlights.
