Angelic soul is an acrylic painting of stone angels, one pure, one cursed. This piece is inspired by Greek mythology and religion. I fell in love with religious paintings and their seamless techniques. This painting is an exploration of how far my skills and imagination can take me with the techniques and qualities I wanted to recreate. The message of this painting is, “your appearance doesn’t define you, your soul does”, as well as “Don’t judge a book by its cover”, and “not everything is what it seems”. This painting is a visible representation of those quotes so you can clearly see the pain and suffering one angel feels from their sins while the other thrives in purity.
