My piece explores the stress and pressure that many students experience in school and the emotional and mental toll it can take. As a Year 11 student, I created this work from a personal perspective, reflecting on a world where academic demands are higher than ever. Students everywhere can relate to moments when schoolwork feels suffocating, like a weight dragging us down. Expectations from parents, teachers, and peers can seem overwhelming, so high they feel impossible to reach. I aimed to visually represent the consequences of these pressures.
