I wanted to show my admiration and love for the natural environment with the creatures in the land and sky. I also wanted to show the importance my community in Fitzroy Crossing attach to nature by doing an Aboriginal style of painting, same as my ancestors. All the animals represented in the painting are found in the Kimberley region where I live, which has a beautiful landscape.
