My artwork was inspired by Jimi Hendrix’s ‘All Along the Watch Tower’. The quotes: “While all the women came and went, barefoot servants, too”, “Outside in the cold distance a wildcat did growl”; and “Two riders were approaching and the wind began to howl”, made me think of fantasy settings and characters. These ideas led me to creating the first early sketches and designs of my painting, which naturally evolved into the Wild Cat.
