In this piece I embroidered six individual luggage tags exploring the theme of Vincent Van Gogh’s paintings. I wanted each piece to look effective on its own but also work together as a group. Each tag has a little something about this famous artist. I took snippets of his works such as ‘Starry Night’ and ‘Sunflowers’, including a self portrait and a favourite quote. Each intricate and delicate piece followed the same blue and yellow colour theme.
