These are the early pages of a larger story. They depict an android made for entertainment realising it is being replaced by another, better one. In retaliation, it lashes out against its caretaker. Despite the attempt, it still gets reset. I used pen and Copic markers on paper to create a realistic comic book feel. I chose different layouts and boxes to communicate the story and the emotions of the characters. I maintained to a simple four-colour palette to unify the artwork and make the story flow.
