‘Overwhelmed’ is a photomontage of St Georges Terrace in Perth engulfed by rising sea levels. It is inspired by global warming, an ever-evolving problem affecting life. Predicting an easily-foreseeable future, my work represents the rising of sea levels to the point where colossal cities, buildings and skyscrapers will be submerged. Viewers should resist contributing to global warming and unnatural alterations of the environment as this could lead to a future of despair.
