Being an Aboriginal student, I wanted to create an artwork in the style of my cultural background. I chose to base my painting on the connection of the sea and the sky. I like the beautiful colours that we can find as the Sun sets and its reflections appear in the sea. I wanted to represent the beautiful scenery by adding an Aboriginal touch. My culture is strongly attached to nature and I wanted to show my admiration in a special way.
