2016 Young Originals Catalogue

The Young Originals exhibition provides an opportunity for Western Australian public school students from Years 7 – 12 to exhibit their creative visual arts works in a public gallery space. More than 180 artworks were entered from which the judges selected 75 very high standard pieces. Each is a testament to both the talent of the students and the passionate professionalism of their dedicated teachers.

The Western Australian Secondary School Executives Association has sponsored the Young Originals Exhibition since 2010 and is proud to prolong their involvement. Being able to house the exhibition in the Spectrum Project Space through a partnership with Edith Cowan School of Communications and Arts adds both distinction and recognition to the event. The Department of Education’s support and encouragement is also acknowledged.

Thank you to all the enthusiastic students and dedicated teachers who submitted such excellent artworks and congratulations to those whose works have been exhibited.
